Description
The Invisihear T27 Hearing Aid is a CIC (Completely In Canal) device. These use digital chips with high speed DSP signal processing, intelligent noise management systems and a feedback processing function. It will provide the user with a comfortable sound and excellent clarity.
There are 2 types ear domes: open-fit ear domes ( used for mild/moderate losses where the low frequencies are relatively good) and closed ear domes ( for moderate/severe losses where all frequencies are down). If you are unsure of your loss experiment with the each type to find the most comfortable sound for you.
These help users to hear comfortably within different environments, such as quiet at home, in traffic noise, watching TV and in meetings. An easy push button operation allows the user to set the set the level they are most comfortable with.
How To wear your Invisihear T CIC Hearing Aids?
1. Installing Battery
The correct battery type should be selected (Size 10). Lift the battery door gently using the raised catch, use the brush's magnet to hold the battery by the positive (flat side) and then insert the battery. You should avoid touching the top of the battery if possible. Gently insert the battery into the ring of the battery door. Slide the brush away from the battery toward the back of the battery door to separate the battery from the brush. Close the battery door gently after new battery is installed. Do not close the battery door with force as it may cause damage. If you cannot close the battery door, please check if the battery is installed correctly, with the positive side up and negative side (ring side) down in the ring of the tray. The symbol "+" sign on the battery should be at the same side as the "+" on the battery door.
2. Replacing Eartip/Dome
Assembly: Select the appropriate size of eartip/dome to fit comfortably into your ear; hold the eartip and place it over the connector rim correctly and gently push
To ensure the eartip is correctly assembled, please check the sleeve of the eartip is fully over the connector and does not come off when slightly pulling it.
Tips: It is recommended you choose the medium size ear dome when first fitting. If the ear dome is too small it will cause feedback making the hearing aid whistle when you wear it in the ear canal and could also work loose from the ear. Please choose the larger size ear dome should this happen. If on initial fit the aid feels too tight then opt for the smaller dome.
We suggest that you turn put hearing aid volume down before you insert it into the ear canal, this will avoid the hearing aid whistling.
3. Power On/Off
The battery door also functions as the on/off switch;
ON: The battery door is fully closed..
OFF: The battery door is open.
If you turn the hearing aid off, please wait at least three seconds before turning it on again
